MEDC director resigns

McCOOK, Neb. -- Kirk Dixon, the Executive Director of the McCook Economic Development Corp. for the past ten months has resigned effective immediately.

"I enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to represent McCook. I will always remain one of our town's and the MEDC organizations biggest fans and cheerleaders," Dixon said.

"Kirk raised the profile of the MEDC and the City of McCook," MEDC President, Dennis Berry said. "He brought to light many of the projects the MEDC has been working on over the past few years," Berry continued.

The MEDC Board will begin its search for a new director immediately according to Berry.
