Rick and Betty Michaelsen of McCook celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 17 taking a hot air balloon ride over McCook. For their 49th anniversary, they did a zip-line in Colorado. They haven't decided yet what they will do for their next anniversary, Rick said. They were married in Irwin, Iowa, and have three children, Rick Jr. and wife, Marissa of McCook, Stacy and wife, Kristi and Heather and husband, Ryan, all of Lincoln; four grandchildren with one on the way.
