Hayes County 4-H'er Coy Hale of Hayes Center wins purple ribbons in the 4-H team roping competition during the Hayes County Fair horse show Tuesday afternoon. Coy's heeling time was 18.97 seconds; his heading time was 12.44 seconds. County fair 4-H, FFA and open class exhibits will be entered today, and the swine, sheep and beef shows are all scheduled Thursday. Friday, the schedule includes a kids' carnival at 10 a.m., a free barbecue from 5 p.m until 6 p.m., 4-H Club pictures at 6:30 p.m., the presentation of the "Friend of 4-H" award at 6:45 p.m., the livestock sale at 7 p.m., the youth dance at 9 p.m. and the street dance at 10 p.m.
