Second graders at McCook Elementary celebrate attaining their reading goals with a Pizza Hut "Book It" pizza party Friday. Anais Cepeda-Orozo, above left, and Esperanza Bueno visited over their lunch; Jackson Blomstedt, below, concentrated on his pizza. BOOK IT! motivates children to read by rewarding their reading accomplishments with praise, recognition and pizza. BOOK IT! was created in 1984 and reaches more than 14 million students in 38,000 elementary schools annually.
