BETHANY, Mo. -- Arda Viola Hartman, 92, died Monday (Feb. 22, 2016) at Bethany Care Center in Bethany.

She was born March 15, 1923, in Stratton, Nebraska, to William Claude and Louise Mae (Price) Hartman.

She lived and worked as a nurse's aide and caregiver in Bethany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, William, Ivan, Robert and Pete Hartman; and sisters, Helen, Patricia and Mary.

Survivors include sisters, Doris Hook of Independence, Missouri and Bette Wendall of Garden City, Idaho; special friend, Coleene Geopferich of Bethany; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery in Bethany. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
