Michael Allen Boen the son of Lavon and Shirley Allen Boen Riley was born Sept. 16, 1964, in Russellville, Arkansas. As a young boy, he and his family moved to Oklahoma. They settled in the Claremore area, where he attended school. Later Mike left Oklahoma and moved to Nebraska where he started his truck driving career. A short time later he met Annette Tines in Indianola, Nebraska. They married July 19, 1986, in Cambridge, Nebraska. They made their home there until moving to Claremore in 2001. He then started his own dump truck business named Boen Trucking. After being on his own for a while, the open road called Mike back. He then began working for Miller trucking. He would work there for the next 10 years until his health forced him to retire.
In his spare time Mike enjoyed setting on the front porch with his dog buster visiting with all his friends and family. That was especially more enjoyable when his grandchildren were with him.
He is preceded in death by his father Lavon Boen and his brother Robert Boen.
