McCook to host FCA youth tennis clinic July 28

McCook will host a session of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) summer tennis clinic.

The McCook session is scheduled Tuesday, July 28, at the Bison Courts next door to the McCook YMCA. The session will run from 8 a.m. To 12:30 p.m.

McCook head tennis coach Matt Wiemers labeled the clinic as "A great day of tennis on the courts and great fellowship off the courts."

Boys and girls entering grades 9-12 next school year are eligible to participate. Costs will be $30 per person -- make checks payable to FCA.

Two college coaches are expected to work the clinic in McCook, including University of Nebraska-Kearney head men's and women's coach Jake Saulsbury and Hastings College head men's tennis coach Comron Yazdgerdi.

Participants must have completed waiver forms completed at the clinic registration July 28. Registration forms and fees should be mailed to: FCA, P.O. Box 573, Scottsbluff, NE 69363.
