The family of Lewis Palmer of Cambridge, Nebraska, are hosting an open house in honor of his 80th birthday, as well as in honor of the 54th wedding anniversary of he and his wife, Jane. He was born April 13, 1935. The open house is Sunday, April 12, at the Heritage Plaza Retirement Village, 2-4 p.m., 1205 Nelson in Cambridge. Their family includes children, Delton and Vicky Young, Don and Theresa Ruggles and Dennis and Brenda Liess, all of McCook, Nebraska, Julie Wendel of American Fork, Utah, and Brad and Teresa Palmer of Moline, Illinois; 13 grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren.
