Two injured in ATV accident Saturday

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- A McCook man and a Lebanon woman were seriously injured in an ATV accident near Lake Maloney Saturday. according to the Lincoln County Sheriff's office.

Sean Baker, 29, of McCook and passenger Tahnee Sanders, 29, Lebanon, were transported to the North Platte hospital by ambulance and at least one was transferred to another hospital.

Officers said the yellow side-by-side ATV was apparently moving at a high rate of speed when it rolled in a cornfield, ejecting both occupants, who were not wearing seatbelts or helmets.
