Hospital volunteers honored at luncheon

McCook, Nebraska--Community Hospital volunteers were recently honored during volunteer week with a noon luncheon prepared by the Community Hospital dietary staff. The theme was "Volunteers: Our Hats Off to You." Sixteen volunteers were honored by Community Hospital administration and department directors. They also received a small gift and a potted plant. Volunteers who attended the luncheon were (back row from left): Julie Sloggett, Geneva Eckhart, Jean Hardy, Veda Kemper, JoAnn Brand, Annette Wagner and Brenda Kincaid; (middle row): Elizabeth Cueller, Phyllis Clapp, Betty Bradley and Sharon Schuttler; (front row): Ruth Shields, Jan Mahon, Bette Rice, Georgene Sitzman and Dana Wade. Volunteers assist in a variety of areas at Community Hospital including in the Garden View gift shop, at the radiology desk, with the coffee cart, at community and hospital blood drives, for the Community Hospital Health Foundation and with special mailings.
