Showing the containers of colorful flowers they made for Hillcrest Nursing Home are Karragan Shaw of McCook, right, with Phoebe Bullis and Jacob Leisy of North Platte with Margaret Hunter and Paul Martin. A total of 16 kids and their parents participated in "Take our daughters and sons to work" day at Farm Credit Services April 24, at the Farm Credit Services offices in McCook, North Platte and Imperial. The kids and parents toured the Rams Horm Dairy north of McCook and Common Scents Nursery, where the flowers were purchased. The kids painted and potted a total of six containers and brought them to the Red Splendor Garden at Hillcrest. Karragan is the daughter of Rylee Shaw at the McCook office.
