Connie Jo Discoe/McCook Gazette

Annette Irwin of Omaha, formerly of McCook, will sell furniture from her father Otto Nilsson's apartment house in McCook at an estate sale -- not an auction as indicated in an earlier Gazette headline -- Friday and Saturday, Sept, 6 and 7, through the north (alley) doors of the two-story brick Rytt Building at 417 West B in McCook. Annette will donate the proceeds of this sale to the McCook Humane Society, which she will add to the proceeds from a garage sale of her father's miscellaneous collections in early August. The sale will be Friday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Early birds will pay double. Cash only; no checks will be accepted. Enter the Rutt Building through the blue doors on the north side of the building, in the alley between West B and West C ... or a half-block east of McCook Christian Church ... or a half-block southeast of the new McCook city offices, fire and police department ... or a half block west of the Kugler Co. and American Electric ... or across B Street north of the former Automotive Sales and Service building and in the alley on the north.

  • Thanks for the benefit sale. Again McCook folks step up to help a good organization.
