Dancing in the rain

Four-year-old Annika Kaski of San Diego dances in a warm Nebraska rain falling on the Dundy County fair in Benkelman Thursday afternoon. Annika's mother, Lori, said that her husband and Annika's dad, Chad, is stationed with the U.S. Navy in San Diego. Annika's older sister, Lauren, participated in llama showmanship, cooking and sewing in 4-H competition at the Dundy County Fair through a new program in which the children of active military members can show anywhere in Nebraska. Annika and Lauren are the grandchildren of Lonny and Kathy Stahlecker of Benkelman.
