Theology On Tap: 'Fueled by the Word'

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Fr. Scott Courtney will present "Fueled by the Word" followed by time for questions and discussion, Thursday, June 20 from 7 -- 8:30 p.m. at Sehnert's Bieroc Café, 312 Norris Ave, McCook.

"Theology on Tap" is an informal opportunity to explore religious issues, to develop friendships and to learn more about your faith. All are invited who are out of high school or older, but of course only those 21 or older will be served alcohol.

Theology on Tap is very popular in many cities across the United States, including Lincoln and Holdrege, Nebraska. Now McCook!

Pizza by the slice and salad will be for sale. Cash bar with non-alcoholic drinks and beer, wine, etc. available. Come early to eat if you wish, or eat and have a glass of your favorite beverage during the presentation and discussion. You are welcome to hang out and continue the discussion after 8:30 p.m. if you wish.

Father Scott Courtney captivates his audiences with his dynamic and inspirational presentations on faith, prayer and Sacred Scripture. Father. Courtney is a graduate of Mount St. Mary Seminary, and a priest of the Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska. He has taught high school religion for many years and has a sound, solid and inspirational way of engaging listeners in faith formation. Youth at a recent retreat commented that Father Courtney taught them, "It's cool to be Catholic!" He is a pastor, a radio personality, has appeared on EWTN television and is never shy about bringing Christ to people.
