She is the daughter of Florence (Bales)and Alonzo Mitchem and granddaughter of Tom and Delsina Bales and Daniel and Rebecca Mitchem. The open house is Saturday, May 4, from 2-4 p.m. at the Hillcrest Nursing Home activities room, 309 W. Seventh Street in McCook. Her family includes her son, the late Stanley Detra.
