Doug Skiles appointed to NASBA board of directors
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) recently announced Board Member Mr. Douglas W. Skiles, CPA, McCook, Nebraska will join the NASBA Board of Directors.
Skiles was selected by NASBA's Nominating Committee as the Central Regional Director and will report to several State Boards in the Midwest Region as the NASBA representative.
Skiles is currently the Chair of the State Board. He is a corporate shareholder within the CPA firm McPherron, Skiles & Loop, P.C. Skiles graduated in 1977 with honors from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Business.
Skiles is currently a member of the National Association of State Boards of Public Accountancy (NASBA) Education Committee. He has been a CPA member of the Board since 2003 representing the third congressional district.
The Nebraska State Board of Public Accountancy administers public accountancy law in Nebraska. Six of the eight Board Members are certified public accountants with active permits to practice and two are members of the public.
