Good Earth Garden Club tour area yards and gardens

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The Good Earth Garden Club met June 12 and toured the beautiful yard of Ben and Susan Hardin of McCook.

The club enjoyed the Hardin's yard, flowers and cactuses.

The members then traveled to Bartley to visit the home, yard and vegetable garden of Jim and Jane Foster.

That evening, the area was blessed with some rain. The club then toured their yard and vegetable garden.

Jim and Jane shared their house and Jim's collection with club members.

Donna Houghtelling and Clarice Kinney served crackers and cheese, fresh fruit and the Foster's shared the wine with the group.

The May meeting was spent planting flowers in the circle of Norris Park. Members will take turns being on a water schedule.
