Main Street 'Summit'

Bill Longnecker, owner of Longnecker Jewelry in McCook, urges the Main Street Advisory Board to find ways to continue the program because of its value to the communities of Nebraska. Three dozen state and community leaders from throughout Nebraska gathered in York Tuesday to deliberate the future direction of Nebraska's Main Street program. Future funding for the Main Street program is in limbo because the Nebraska Legislature is reluctant to continue funding the program.
