McCOOK, Nebraska -- Scarlett Star Yeager, 1, died Monday (June 28, 2010) at Children's Hospital in Omaha.

Scarlett was born May 28, 2009 in McCook to Jessica Yeager. She loved to play in the water, she enjoyed being outside and had fun playing with her puppy Gidit. She was beginning to walk.

She is survived by her mom, Jessica Yeager; sister, Jadelyn Yeager; grandmother, Joanne Goad; grandfather, Kenny Yeager; great grandparents, Frank and June Goad, Sr. all of McCook; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Pastor Clark Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Culbertson Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5--7 p.m. and Monday from 5--8 p.m.
