Peterson, Bourg engagement
Candace Peterson and Trevor Bourg, both of McCook, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the couple are Dan and Cindy Peterson of McCook, Jay and Melissia Blauvelt of McCook, and Joe Bourg of Elizabethtown, Ky.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Jerry and Mary Crawford of Kearney and the late Frank and Ethel Peterson.
Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Larry and Glenda Boye of Stevensville, Mo., John and Arliss Bourg of Lincoln, Lyle Blauvelt of McCook and the late Rosalie Blauvelt.
The bride-to-be graduated from McCook High School in 2007 and will be attending Hawkeye Community College working toward a degree in professional photography this fall. She is employed at Hillcrest Nursing Home.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from McCook High School in 2004, attended McCook Community College and received a degree in welding and machine shop technology. He is employed at Valmont Industries.
An April 24, 2010, wedding is planned at 4:30 at the Republican River Valley Event Center in McCook.
