Culbertson Speedway cancels July 3 races

CULBERTSON -- For the third weekend in a row, weather has affected the racing in Southwest Nebraska.

The races scheduled for last Thursday at Culbertson Speedway were canceled.

The next race scheduled for the track is Aug. 7 during the Hitchcock County Fair. Track points gained that night will go towards the track points at McCook Speedway.

McCook Speedway will have the next races in Southwest Nebraska. Those races are scheduled for Friday night.

Besides the regular show for the night, the A Features for the three IMCA classes that were rained out on June 26 will be run that night as well. The Mod Lites will be on also be on hand that night to race.

The gates open at 6 p.m. central time, and the races will start at 8 p.m.
