The Giants sent 10 batters to the plate in the first inning and scored nine runs.
The Astros bats struggled against Giants pitching throughout most of the game.
In the third, Astros got bases loaded but only scored once while the Giants added six more runs.
Giants leading hitters: Caleb Suda, Mitchell Reitz and Frankie Williams two singles each, Jonah Peterson, John Slaby, Dawson Brunswick and Luke Peterson all with singles.
Astros leading hitters: Caleb Tuxhorn, Kasey Hahn and Logan Kircher all with singles, Zack Strecker double and single.

Both teams were scoreless in the first. The Rockies could only get the bases loaded in the second while Indians came up with a few hits and capitalized on walks to take a 5-0 lead.
The Rockies could not get offense going in the third or fourth inning. Indians scored one run and two runs respectively and increased the lead to 8-0.
Things turned around for Rockies in the fifth, scoring five runs but came up short losing 8-5.
Indians leading hitters: Easton Gillen, Darrell Scott, Colten Lashley and Alex Graff all with singles.

The Braves scored two runs in the first and held Twins scoreless for a 2-0 lead.
The Twins only run came in the third and the Braves added four more in top of fifth.
The Braves clinched first place for Cubs division with this win.

Both teams had their chances early but could not take advantage of opportunity to get any runs across.
All the scoring in this game was in the third inning. The Rockies scored first and took a 1-0 lead.
The Braves scored three runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead all that was needed to win.

Rockies leading hitters: Delton Ulmer double, Gavin Klie single.

The Reds scored twice in the first inning while Astros scored once. In every inning, the Reds added runs and increased their lead.
The Astros had bases loaded with no outs in second but could not score. They did score two runs in the third.
Reds leading hitters: Nate Ulrich double and single, Bryce Lyons two triples and two singles, Noah Hofman three singles and double, Wyatt Burkert two singles and Jaden Hickert single.
Astros leading hitters: Caleb Tuxhorn single.

The Royals jumped out to a 7-4 lead after three innings.
In the last two innings, the Royals scored eight runs while setting the Red Sox down in order.
Royals leading hitters: Bryson Kool two doubles; Levi Baughman and Payton Stagemeyer two singles each, Kaden Sitzman two singles and triple, Tyler Gray two singles and double.
Red Sox leading hitters: Coy Terry and Kasey Taylor each with singles.

The Red Sox had a 5-4 lead after to two innings of play.
In the third, the Twins got rolling and batted through the lineup to score eight runs including a homerun by David Jaramillo.
The Red Sox would not score again and Twins would add one more for a final score of 16-5.
With this win the Twins finished with a 7-3 record, good enough for second place in the Cubs Division for 2009.
Twins leading hitters: Darius Williams three singles, Caleb Sheets home run, double and single, Spencer Powell two doubles and single.
David Jaramillo hit a home run, double and single, Jerimiah Jaramillo two singles, Christian Olson and Isaac Larson each with singles.

The Indians really didn't hit too much, but scored often with the walkfest.
The Indians pitching recorded nine strikeouts and only allowed two runs.
Indians leading hitters: Easton Gillen single, Cole Leach and Nick Fuchuck two singles each, Colten Lashley double, Dalton Goodberger two singles and double, Alex Graff double and single.
Athletics leading hitters: none.

Both teams went scoreless in the first inning.
The bottom of the lineup got things going for the Giants in the second as they scored three runs.
The Reds answered back but could only get one run so after two the Giants had a 3-1 lead.
The Giants could not get the bats going in their half of the third and the Reds added another run to make it 3-2.
Again in the fourth the lower portion of the batting order came up with a run for the Giants.
The Reds had one base runner and two outs when Bryce Lyons double scored two.
Lypns later scored to give the Reds a one run advantage. They would hold on for a 5-4 win.
Reds leading hitters: Nate Ulrich triple and single, Bryce Lyons double and single, Wyatt Burket single.
Giants leading hitters: Caleb Suda and Max Allen two singles each, Mitchell Reitz, Jonah Peterson, Dawson Brunswick and Austin Martin all with singles.
The Cubs double elimination tournament started on Thursday with the championship to be played on Monday.
