College board plans emergency meeting

NORTH PLATTE -- The Mid-Plains Community College Board of Governors plan an emergency meeting Tuesday in North Platte to approve up to $60,000 in costs for the Center for Applied Science and Technology program at McCook Community College.
The emergency meeting will be at the North Platte Community College North Campus in Room 200 at 6:30 p.m.
Board members will also hear an update on the proposed Event Center in McCook and the Health Complex in North Platte.
Following the meeting, the board will convene for a work session at 7 p.m., to discuss continuing development of policy governance. No action will be taken at this meeting.
