Erin Brown and Brad Fries

Erin Brown of Hayes Center and Brad Fries of Upland announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Richard and Carol Brown of Hayes Center, Steve and Suzanne Fries of Upland and Perry and Brenda Miller of Rising City.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Bill and Virginia Brown and Rex and Twyla Steinbrink both of Trenton. 
Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Vernon and Joan Fries and Lee and Ruth Johnson, all of Upland and Bert Frink of David City.


The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Hayes Center High School and will be attending the radiologic technology program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney beginning in August.


The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Minden High School, 2002 graduate of Central Community College in Hastings with an associate's degree in electrical technology, and is the owner of AMPED Electric.


An Aug. 16, 2008, ceremony is planned at Sunken Gardens in Lincoln.
