OBERLIN -- Dwayne Ray Dickinson, 34, died Saturday (March 15, 2008) in Oberlin.

He was born April 26, 1973, in Oberlin, to James Logan and Wanda Marie (Janousek) Dickinson. He grew up in Oberlin and attended Oberlin Elementary and Decatur Community High School. He went on to attend K-State in Salina, Kan., and Northwest Kansas Area Technical College in Goodland.

He married Kelli Strop on Dec. 8, 2007, in Oberlin. He lived in Oberlin and worked for Murfin Drilling.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Dickinson, on Jan. 5, 2004.

Survivors include his wife, Kelli of Oberlin; mother, Wanda Dickinson of Oberlin; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Shirley Huff of McCook; step-daughter, Ashley Coronado of Oberlin; brothers, Bengy Dickinson of Oberlin and Brett and wife, Cammi Dickinson of Hays, Kan.; and sister, Tammy Sue Dickinson of Wichita, Kan.

Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m., until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the family.
