Montey, Hunter wedding

Kristin Montey of McCook and Wade Hunter of Torrington, Wyo., were united in marriage on June 23, 2007, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook, with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Anna Montey of McCook and Allen and Deb Hunter of Torrington.
Tera Montey, sister of the bride, of Hastings, served as maid of honor. Sara and Kelli Montey both sisters of the bride, of McCook were bridesmaids.
Michael Jones, of Laramie, Wyo., was the bestman. Bridegroomsmen were Jay Nelson brother-in-law of the bridegroom, of New York and Joey Taverna of Colorado.
Maddie and Kate Nelson, nieces of the bridegroom were the flower girls and Chris Atteburry cousin, of the bride, of Gothenburg was the ring bearer. Ushers were Brett and Brian Montey, brothers of the bride, of McCook.
Linda Brewster was the organist and Pauletta Gerver was the soloist, both of McCook.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook. Catherine Edmundson of Culbertson was the guestbook attendant.
The bride graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts in education and is employed with the County Clerk's office in Lusk, Wyo. The bridegroom recieved his Associates Degree from McCook and is working at the Port of Entry in Lusk.
The couple is making their home in Lusk.
