Smolik, Deyle wedding

KEARNEY -- Tessa Smolik and Derek Deyle of Kearney were united in marriage on June 16, 2007, at Yanney Heritage Park in Kearney with the Rev. Rob Kuefner officiating.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Karen Smolik and Don and Londa Kost, all of Kearney.
The bride's grandparents are Pauline Frecks of Culbertson and Emanuel and Clara Smolik of Alma. Grandfather of the bridegroom is Ted Kost of Aurora.
The maid of honor was Kelcey Zutavern of Dunning. Bridesmaids were Kara Deyle, sister of the bridegroom, of Kearney, Jocelyn Spurgin of Paxton and Tawny Fye of Stratton, Colo.
Matt Workman of Funk served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Neil Wolfe of Kearney, Ryan Moore of Lincoln and Michael Kuhl of Kearney.
Flower girl was Esenia Pittman, niece of bridegroom, of Lincoln. Zachary Pittman, nephew of the bridegroom, of Lincoln was the ring bearer. Jami Gooch, cousin of bride, of Jupiter, Fla., and Lydia Taylor, cousin of bridegroom, of Kearney carried the bride's train down the aisle.
Ushers were Trenton Smolik, brother of bride, of Kearney, Joseph Frecks, cousin of bride, of Culbertson, Adam Gentzler of Gretna and Josh Marron of Grand Island.
A reception followed at The Boxcar in Kearney. Olivia and Samantha Knaub, of Kearney were the guest book attendants. Host couples were Harvey and Cheryl Steier, of Atwood and Nels and Patrice Taylor of Kearney.
The bride is a first-year pharmacy student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy and employed at Nebraska Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy in Omaha as a pharmacist intern.
The bridegroom is a second-year pharmacy student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy and is also employed at Nebraska Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy as a pharmacist intern.
After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Omaha.
