Rachel Clifton Odenbach

Rachel Clifton Odenbach, 91, died Saturday (May 12, 2007) at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. 

On Sept.26, 1915, she was born at Osakis, Minn., to Ellis B. and Christine M. (Christensen) Clifton. She attended schools in Minnesota and North Dakota. 

She married Raymond R. Odenbach in September 1934, in Fargo, N.D.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Roberta and Carolyn and one brother, Clayton Clifton.

Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Clifton Odenbach of McCook; grandsons and wives, Douglas and Kathy Kochenderfer of Bossier City, La., Kevin and Tracy Kochenderfer of Omaha and James Kochenderfer and fiancée, Kathy Braga of Gretna; three great-grandchildren, Erin Kochenderfer and fiancée, Brigham Lambley of Vancouver, Wash., A1C Jason Kochenderfer of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Shane Kochenderfer of Omaha; and one brother, Douglas Clifton of Eight Mile, Ala. 

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be in Bellevue in July.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of the arrangements.
