Presidential advice

Dear Editor,

I would just like to give our president some advice after his speech he gave on Wednesday the 10th of January.

First of all it is important to us to have enough troops here in the U.S. for our own protection. I believe that our prisons are overpopulated and we as taxpayers pay for their clothing, food and shelter.

What would be wrong with taking those prisoners in jail and training them in the military service and sending them over that would not only thin out the over crowded prisons but we would have enough men to send instead of using our good troops we have right here.

We pay for the food and clothing and shelter out of our tax dollar and so it is not we would be wasting money just putting the tax dollar to good use and getting something in return, which is enough men to fight the war in Iraq.

This is just my opinion but it would be interesting to see how many other people think this would be a good idea. Thank you
