Players selected for Sertoma volleyball match

The McCook Area Sertoma Club announced its selections for 15th Annual Sertoma All-Star Volleyball Classic at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 17.

Twenty-four of the area's recently graduated volleyball stars meet at McCook High School.

Amy Beyer of Hershey and Julie Smith of Sutherland will coach the West Team.

Anita Hueftle of Eustis/Farnam and Michelle Steinike of Gothenburg will take the reins of the East Team.

Each team will get four practices during the week with the key to success being how quickly and effectively they become a team.

Proceeds from this event are used by the McCook Area Sertoma Club for handicap accessible playground equipment at McCook Elementary.
