Monthly cooking magazine debuts Tuesday
FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Relish, a new monthly food magazine dedicated to celebrating America's love of food, will debut in the McCook Daily Gazette on Tuesday as an insert in the newspaper.
Each edition of Relish will include a broad range of timely and insightful articles about food, cooking, entertaining, and more. Features will include irresistible recipes, useful cooking tips and techniques, healthy cooking ideas, and the latest in kitchen and household gadgets. The magazine also will include recipes from readers, as well as the occasional account of a party or gathering titled "Supper Club."
"Our readers really like cooking ideas and recipes," said Shary Skiles, General Manager of McCook Daily Gazette. "The addition of Relish will give our subscribers more of what they have been asking for."
"Relish is the result of an already overwhelmingly popular feature found in our original magazine, American Profile. The Hometown Recipe section of that magazine has been so hugely popular that we decided to create an entire magazine dedicated to America's love of food," said Dick Porter, President and CEO of Publishing Group of America, publisher of both American Profile and Relish magazine. "We believe a magazine devoted entirely to food and cooking with an approachable and inviting format will connect with America's renewed interest in family meal time and get-togethers."
Beginning Feb. 7, Relish will be a regular monthly insert in McCook Daily Gazette on the first Tuesday of every month..
To introduce the new magazine, Gazette staff will prepare some of the recipes featured in the February issue of Relish for readers to enjoy. Please join us Tuesday at the McCook Daily Gazette Office, West First & E Streets, from noon to 3 p.m.
