MCC volleyball squad drops final home match

The McCook Community College volleyball team lost its final home match Wednesday night at True Hall Gymnasium to the Air Force Prep junior varsity.

The final score was 30-11, 30-16, 30-14.

Five sophomores played their final regular-season match at home -- Kayla Laird, Hayes Center; Sarah Loecker, McCook; Kelsey Wyatt, Wright, Wyo.; Bronwyn Skaritka, Indianola; and Hannah Schlosser, Goodland, Kan.

Laird had 14 set assists and 9 digs. Mary Gohl had 4 kills and 5 digs. Sara Cappel had 5 kills and 6 digs. Denae Owens had 8 digs.

Kate Voss had 2 kills and 2 ace blocks. Hannah Schlosser had 4 kills.
