MCC spikers fall to NPCC

NORTH PLATTE -- The McCook Community College volleyball team lost a four-set match to North Platte CC at North Platte Thursday.

The Indians lost 26-30, 30-25, 30-24, 30-20.

Kayla Laird had 23 set assists and 3 ace blocks for MCC. Lindsey Hartman had 7 kills, 7 digs and 5 ace blocks.

Mary Gohl had 10 kills and 6 ace blocks. Kate Voss had 7 kills and 5 ace blocks. Sara Cappel had 12 digs. Kelsey Wyatt had 15 digs.

MCC will be at home for several matches the next two weeks.

The Indians host the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture junior varsity at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Otero Junior College at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Dana College at 5 p.m. Thursday.

MCC hosts CCC-Columbus Sept. 28, Southeast CC and Colby Sept. 30, Trinidad State Oct. 2 and North Platte Oct. 5.
