ATWOOD -- Lorraine Wilma (Dankert) Fleischacker, 80, died Sunday (Jan. 16, 2005).

She was born Oct. 20, 1924, to Herbert and Anna (Nietfeld) Dankert in Palmer.

On Sept. 19, 1943, she married Math Fleischacker of Ludell at Zion Lutheran Church. The couple made their home east of Ludell.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Ludell and later Grace and Redeemer Lutheran Church of Atwood. She was then a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Colby.

She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1, 1996; her parents; two brothers, Alfred and Elton Dankert; two sisters, Florence Kanter and Mildred Niermeier; and a son-in-law, Arnold Hallagin.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Hallagin of Guymon, Okla., Donna and husband, Andreas Mahera of Hays, Anita and husband, Royce Porter of Colby, Rosella and husband, Ernest Ward Jr., of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Melvin Dankert of Palmer; one sister, Wilma Uden of Hastings; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, 2 p.m., at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Atwood with the Rev. Don White officiating. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ludell.

Visitation is today until 9 p.m., at Williams Funeral Home of Atwood where family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation continues Thursday, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., at the funeral home and at from noon until service time at the church.

Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Hour Ministries and left at the funeral home.
