COLBY, Kan. -- Karren R. (Griggs) Donaldson, 61, died Monday (Jan. 3, 2005) in Levant, Kan.

She was born June 14, 1943, in Colby, Kan. She lived most of her life in Colby. She was a retired apartment manager.

Survivors include her companion, Dave Donaldson of Colby, Kan.; sons, Gerald Bieker of Paola, Kan., and Douglas Bieker of Culver, Kan.; daughters, Carrie Zodrow of Oberlin; mother, Nettie Griggs of Colby; brother, John Griggs of Colby; sisters, Barbara Turner of Colby and Ginny Curry of Levant; and 11 grandchildren.

Services are Friday, 2 p.m., at Harrison Chapel in Colby with the Rev. Dorine Chambers officiating. Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery in Colby.

Visitation is Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given in her name and left at the Colby bank or Harrison Chapel.
