Benjamin M. Torres
Benjamin M. Torres, 37, died Sunday (Oct. 24, 2004) in Lincoln.
He served in the Army during Desert Storm. After that he served with the Army Guard and the Nebraska Air National Guard.
On Aug. 30, 1997, he married Lori Fisher in McCook. He has been an electrician for Snell's of North Platte.
Survivors include his wife, Lori; sons, Matthew and Jacob; brothers, Rick Torres of Whittier, Calif., and Johnny and wife, Erica Hoyos of Whittier; sister, Rosalie and husband, Robert Hoyos-Castro of Whittier; mother, Lillian and husband, Lupe Hoyos of Whittier; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Patsy Fisher of McCook; brothers-in-law, Eric and wife, Trace Fisher of Indianola and Jason Fisher of Holdrege; and sister-in-law, Brenda and husband, Mark Deterding of Seward.
Services are Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Saviour Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery and Park in Lincoln with full military honors.
Visitation is Thursday, 2-8 p.m., with the family present from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
