Ernest D. Spaulding

Ernest Damain Spaulding was born to Byron and Elsie (Hayden) Spaulding in Indianola, Nov. 18, 1914. He departed this life Aug. 18, 2004.

He married Evelyn Wheyeneth and to this union four children were born, Donald (Janet), Dean (Margaret), Dale (Linda) and Donna Spaulding.

Damain was a longtime Boy Scout leader, an Eagle Scout, past president of ACIC Retirees Group and a faithful member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J. Milo and Leslie; and sister, Loneta.

Others who mourn his death are his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Services were at St. Bartholomew's and he was laid to rest Aug. 21, 2004, at St. Ferdinand Cemetery in Ferguson, Mo.
