Jamie Lee Harris and Daniel Austin Stitt were united in marriage June 26, 2004, at McCook Christian Church with the Rev. Clark Bates officiating.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Karla Harris of McCook and Marilyn and Dick Stitt of McCook. Grandmother of the bride is Jane Hester of McCook.
Trina Mabile of Lincoln was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ryan Shield of Chadron, Kaylynn Harris of McCook, sister-in-law of the bride, and Lynette Stitt of McCook, sister of the bridegroom.
The bride's personal attendant was Talia Pate of Madrid.
Brandon Fichtner of McCook was the best man. Bridegroomsmen were Charles Stitt, father of the bridegroom, Brad Sughroue of Amherst and Justin Harris of McCook, brother of the bride.
JoAnn Neel of McCook was the flower girl and Wyatt Harris of McCook, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Ushers were Clint Johnson of Lincoln, Jason Michaelis of Yuma, Colo., and Chris Neel of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom.
Candlelighters were Shanna Waterman of Lincoln and Jenny Neel of North Platte, both cousins of the bridegroom.
Guestbook attendants were Michelle Neel of Kearney and Destiny Waterman of Ft. Collins, Colo, both cousins of the bridegroom. The bell attendant was Samuel Streeter of Scott City, Kan., cousin of the bridegroom.
The reception was at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Reception assistants were Maureen Wood and Joyce Peterson of McCook, Marie Danburg of Kearney, cousin of the bride, and Joyce Neel and Darlene Nothnagel of McCook, aunts of the bridegroom.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of McCook High School and is pursuing a degree in sociology at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Republican Valley High School and is a 2002 graduate of Northwest Kansas Technical College. He is employed with Cummins Great Plains in Kearney.
The couple lives in Kearney.
