Letter to the Editor

Who's intolerant?

Friday, September 24, 2004

Dear Editor,

Imagine, Bob Linderholm calling Me "Kookie!"

The next thing you know, Bob will be calling me intolerant!

No offense, Bob, but your letter is the most intolerant and kookie that I have read in awhile. Congratulations.

"For it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." (Romans 14:11).

In the book "Unfit for Command," there is a list of 193 Swift boat Veterans who served with John Kerry, who all agree that John Kerry is indeed unfit for a leadership position.

If John Kerry would be honest with us, and himself, he would be number 194. Here is a quote from page 118 of "Unfit for Command": "Many of these POWs never made it home.

John Kerry's words, his book, "The New Soldier," and his organization, the VVAW, likewise gave birth to the now 30-year-old caricature of U.S. soldiers as drug-sated criminals. No foreign enemy ever dealt so direct and devastating a blow to the morale of America's armed forces and its veterans than John Kerry did. He struck directly -- and falsely -- at the honor of their service, the glue binding all units together.

"For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known." (Luke 12:2)

Sincerely,

George R. Anderson

McCook
