Irene A. Warning

BENKELMAN -- Irene Alice Warning, 83, died Wednesday (Aug. 18, 2004) at Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman.

She was born Feb. 20, 1921, to Robert and Leland (Boswell) Passmore in Parks. She graduate from Benkelman High School in 1939.

On Aug. 29, 1945, she married David Warning. The couple farmed and ranched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Paul; twin sister, Arlene Alice; and one grandson, Lyle.

Survivors include her husband, David Warning of Benkelman; two sons, Leland Warning and wife, Pauline of Castle Rock, Colo., Richard Warning and wife, Rita of Lakewood, Colo.; daughter, Mary Birge and husband, Joe of Benkelman; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, 2 p.m., at Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman with Larry Forch Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Benkelman Cemetery.

Visitation is today, until 7 p.m., at the chapel.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Dundy County Senior Center, PO Box 409, Benkelman, NE 69021.
