Holly H. Case

CAMBRIDGE -- Holly H. Case, 93, died Wednesday (July 28, 2004) at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Red Willow County near Bartley to Charles George and Abbie Elizabeth (Carr) Kerst. She attended rural school and graduated from Bartley High School in 1929.

On Oct. 22, 1932, she married William "Bill" Case in Wray, Colo. The couple moved to Cambridge in 1932. She worked at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the Cambridge Manor for over 25 years. She was able to live in her home until her death.

She was a life member of the Congregational Church, the Esther Rebekah Lodge for 40 years and the Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill in 1967; her son, Donald in 1991; three sisters, Feryl Kurschinski, Ura Heggenburger and Wilma Emrich; and two brothers, Wayne "Billy" Kerst and JC Kerst.

Survivors include her daughter, Charla and husband, Darrell of Cambridge; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, 2 p.m., at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary with Roy Hart Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge.

Memorials may be left in her name at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
