NORTH PLATTE -- Pearl R. Roggensees, 96, died March 24, 2004, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.

She was born March 30, 1907, to William and LuEmma LaMoure Robeson in Furnas County.

On June 27, 1923, she married A.F. "Shorty" Roggensees in McCook. The couple farmed north of Holbrook until they purchased their farm north of Cambridge in 1943. They lived there until 1966. They then moved to Arapahoe. In 1998, she moved to North Platte to live with her daughter and son-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Anna Bourne; five brothers, Andrew, Albert "Jig", Oliver "Ollie", Clarence and Frank Robeson; and a daughter-in-law, Genevieve Roggensees.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn and husband, Glen Buker of North Platte; two sons, Wesley Dean Roggensees of Storm Lake, Iowa and Louis Andrew and wife, Mary Roggensees of Clear Water, Fla.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, May 22, 11 a.m., at the Arapahoe Cemetery.

Carpenter Memorial Chapel of North Platte is in charge of the arrangements.
