Real treasures
Dear Editor,
We have been in McCook several times in the past few months helping our aunt, Mrs. Emma M. Aguinaldo, in the sale of her home in Lebanon. Aunt Em is now living very comfortably with her cat, Bubba, in Willow Ridge, a beautiful complex. We would like to thank the owners of Days Inn for providing such a comfortable room in which to collapse after working long hours in packing, carrying, and storing boxes and furniture.
Thanks also go to Aunt Em's good friends and neighbors, Frances and Neal Warner, for their help in fixing a very stubborn front door. We have no idea how to even begin thanking Mr. Floyd Hershberger.
After moving a good bit of furniture in September for Aunt Em, he showed up during our October trip just "because I figured I could help out." There is absolutely no way we could have finished without his help; McCook has a real treasure in Floyd. Our thanks to these fine citizens of Red Willow County. We really do appreciate all you have done.
Sincerely,
Chery White,
