Allen W. Carlson

OMAHA -- Allen W. Carlson, 75, formerly of McCook, died Monday (Jan. 7, 2002) at his residence in Omaha.

He was born March 7, 1926, at Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvid and Ruth Carslon; and his wife, Betty.

Survivors include one son, Alan and wife, Annie Carlson of Loveland, Colo.; one daughter, Lynda and husband, Rick Unger of Glenwood, Iowa; his mother-in-law, Frances J. Haas of Omaha; one sister-in-law, Dorothy and husband, Kenneth Foster of Omaha, and numerous grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at John A. Gentleman 72nd Street Chapel, Omaha, with the Rev. Gerald R. McGee officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Thursday, 6-8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials are being accepted in his name.
