Bill Schlagel

ENID, Okla. -- Bill Schlagel, 38, died Saturday (Jan. 19, 2002) at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla. He was born March 20, 1963, in Cambridge to James and Maryellen (Kennedy) Schlagel.

He moved to Enid in 1989 and worked at St. Mary's as director of the Cardio-Respiratory Care Unit. He married Dede Fisher on June 18, 1999.

He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and a volunteer with Hospice Circle of Love.

He is survived by his wife, Dede of Enid; son, Joseph; stepson, Seth; step-daughter, Jamie Davidson, all of Enid; his father, James, of Cambridge; one brother, James of Cambridge; and one sister, Barbara Andrews of Elwood.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Johnny Conyers officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love.

Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home of Enid and Lockenour-Jones Mortuary of Cambridge are in charge of arrangements.
