Neomia Lee Spainhower

AURORA, Colo. -- Neomia Lee Spainhower, 90, formerly of Parks, died Saturday, (Jan. 19, 2002) at the Aurora Care Center -- Hospice of Metro Denver.

She was born May 8, 1911, to Morris and Sally (Moser) Brooks at Kansas City, Kan.

On Oct. 31, 1927, she married Milford L. Spainhower. The family resided in Parks for many years. In 1998, she moved to Aurora to be near her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Milford.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Todd of Aurora; son, Ron Spainhower and wife, Carol of Tonganoxie, Kan.; two sisters; one brother; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were today at the Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman with the Rev. Vernon Whetstone officiating. Interment was at the Benkelman Cemetery.

Forch Funeral Chapel of Benkelman was in charge of arrangements.
