OBERLIN -- Jacob I. Wasson, 18, died Friday (Jan. 25, 2002) in Oberlin.

He was born July 5, 1983, in Oberlin to James and Laurie (Lotker) Wasson. He went Oberlin Elementary School and Decatur Community High School.

He was a member of Maverick 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America.

He was preceded in death by one grandmother, Maxine Wasson.

Survivors include his parents; his grandparents, Donald Wasson of Oberlin, and Floyd and Dottie Lotker of Oberlin; and two brothers, Timothy Wasson and wife, Jennifer Fisher of Austin, Texas, and Michael and wife, Kelly Wasson of Oberlin.

Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin, with Rev. Tom Smith and Mr. Eric Scott officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, 1 - 8 p.m., Sunday, 4 - 8 p.m., and Monday after 8 a.m.

Memorials may be given in his name.
