Ruth E. Price

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ruth E. Price, 88, died Monday (Feb. 3, 2003) at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born Oct. 2, 1914, in McCook to Adam and Mary Baker. In 1937, she married A.L. Price of St. Francis. They then moved to Kansas City.

She was a member of the Blue Ridge Blvd. United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, A.L.; brothers, Don, Bobby and Adam Baker; and sister, Lillian Baker.

Survivors include two children, Ron Price and wife, Cheryl of Kansas City and Sheree and husband, Bob Oldham of Raytown, Mo.; one sister, Dorothy Roth of McCook; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

A celebration of life will be Friday, 3 p.m., at the Parklawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, in Kansas City. Visitation will be Friday from 2-3 p.m. at the chapel.
