Summer ceremony unites couple
IMPERIAL -- Erica Jo Maris of Wauneta and Aaron Patric Greene of Imperial were united in marriage June 29, 2002, at Imperial Bible Church in Imperial with the Rev. Matt Hoffman of Hamlet Union Church officiating. Bill Murphy was co-officiant.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Elizabeth Maris of Wauneta and Tim and Jacqueline Greene of Imperial.
Grandparents of the couple are Richard and Delores Stahly, Marvin and Mary Emma Maris, all of Stratton, Jack and Betty Frederick of Grant and Glennard and Colleen Greene.
Great-grandparents of the bride are Reginald and Violet Stahly.
The bride wore a Duchess satin and Venice lace dress with a sweetheart neckline. The skirt was A-line and had a cathedral-length train.
Trisha Rothschadl of Cottonwood, Ariz., cousin of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The bridesmaid was Jane Dinnel of Wauneta.
The best man was Ryan Greene of Imperial, brother of the bridegroom. The bridegroomsman was Jason Purdy of Scottsbluff.
Robert Stahly of Stratton, uncle of the bride and Brett Hlavka of Gregory, S.D., cousin of the bride, served as ushers.
The pianist was Delores Flaming of Wauneta. Aaron and Sara Behrends of Wauneta were the vocalists.
The reception was in the Imperial Bible Church basement. Jay Wolcott of Palisade was the guestbook attendant. Reception servers were Jodi Hlavka of Gregory, Beverly Dinnel of Wauneta and Linda Greene of Imperial.
The couple honeymooned in Estes Park, Colo.
The bride is a homemaker and the bridegroom is employed with Chase 3000 in Imperial.
The couple is making their home in Imperial.
