Decatur Summerfest, Car Show

Monday, June 16, 2003

OBERLIN -- The warm Kansas sunshine danced off the chrome, and rumbling engines echoed off the storefronts in downtown Oberlin as car buffs showed off collectible vehicles during the second annual Decatur County Museum Summerfest and Car Show May 31.

"We had lots of really good-looking cars," said coordinator Greg Fidele. Fidele said the show attracted 102 cars, which was short of the first show last year, he said, probably because of the threat of rain in the morning.
